It means I don't have to put an electric socket in the loft. If it will boost to give an adequate freeview (although mean buying new TVs!) in the other rooms then great. Is there also a way to send the sky signal through it as well to get sky into the other rooms or would it one or the other?

Hi, we have just moved into a new house near Durham and previous occupant has left coax wiring in a mess for TV's.
We have had sky replace the dish, and this cable runs direct to the box in the lounge.
TV in 2 bedrooms have poor picture despite living a few mile from Pontop Pike.
Ariel is in the loft as it is a new estate where outside ariels are not allowed. This runs into an unpowered splitter running 4 sockets. There is no electic in the lost so not easy to fit a signal booster but have seen Labgear MSA263LP/S Remote Power Distribution Amp 6-Way. Can I distribute sky through this, and how? Do you think the booster will work?
