Below are all of Qwerty's postings, with the most recent are at the bottom of the page.It could be a coincidence, but I've found during this switchover (both phases) that I've had a constant ringing in my right ear. It could just be tinnitus caused by something else, as I've had it for a few years now, but just recently during this of all times it's suddenly got a lot worse. Is there a high pitched frequency that Freeview uses? and is it possible I can hear it?

I'm in Downley and have been able to get Freeview for 2-3 years now with a couple of different boxes I've had, some of the channels are a bit iffy and even the sound sometimes briefly cuts out on BBC channels (but more-so with Channel 4 onwards) but it all works reasonably ok. Could be because I'm on top of the hill right near the transmitter?.. or could it be because I'm up high that I can pick up Crystal Palace from here?
