I have had the same apparent problem as Claire. I was watching Dave on Saturday morning when suddenly I got a blank screen and 'No ' message on my TV (Sony + built in ) - same on all stations. Tried automatic then manual re-tunes (C46 only) all to no avail. I am not certain what I have (I do have a )but as all other etc seem fine and I haven't had any problems in the past I will now have to go through a process of elimintaion to find out the cause of the problem. I am in and all my other TVs are recieved via so can't do comparisons with othe TVs on the same transmiter which is a pain as the immediate suspect is the booster/co-ax link bearing in mind that C46 is at the top end of the transmission spectrum.

It seems strange that several others have have had problems with - more so since after (12/19/26 September) everything seems to have been fine until at some point disappeared. I receive the HD from Bilsdale perfectly well(OK they are double the of most others)but why should the C46/574MHz signals be so badly affected? I was told some time ago that the of Co-ax from to could have a detrimental effect on signal quality especially on the 'higher' channels, but when I had my aerial fited about a year ago the co-ax was also replaced so shouldn't be affecting the system.
I can jump into a downfeed from my , but I am still wondering why this problem occurred in the first place. (I spent 20 odd years working in IT so have heard - and given - all the usual excuses about problems with so would like to get to the bottom of this particular problem without losing what was a perfectly good signal feed).

on my problems. Scanning through the on TV last night, I noticed a pile of new channels in the 8xx range - several of which were the missing channels. Knowing that this is often the case whilst the transmitters are being tested and they are basically 'ghost' channels with no programme transissions, I thought nothing of it. However, on closer inspection, I found all my lost channels had re-appeared (my Sony has Automation System Update (I think that's its name). Did a system check and they are all showing as - 0, Signal Quality - 66, so I don't hold out much of keeping them but will monitor the situation over the next few days. It may have only been 'atmospheric conditions' so will wait & see and report back
