Below are all of Peter's postings, with the most recent are at the bottom of the page.I would like to echo Iain's comment and thank you for the practical help you are providing to the public. Proper help in understanding this digital technology I could not find until I happened upon your website.

May I just say a hearty "Thank You" for all your endeavour during the last 10 years. When I adopted Freeview around 6 to 7 years ago I discovered multiple 'issues'. The help and advice provided by your site proved invaluable in getting to the nub of my difficulties. Other sites didn't gome close. Your selfless devotion to the cause of educating the public, in my view, deserves a 'recognition'.
Thank you.

I was a daily user until it stopped functioning for me some weeks ago.
Sony, my digi box maker, suggested that the 'problem' has affected many manufacturers boxes for some while. Has the BBC already stopped the service?

When Tacolneston switches over to full power I notice that it will be broadcasting at 14 times existing strength. For those already receiving a signal strength graded as 'strong' by their Freeview boxes, is the additional strength of transmission signal likely to have an adverse effect on the circuitry of these freeview boxes making it necessary to purchase new and I suppose less sensitive equipment?
Whilst writing, many thanks for providing the freeview/stst channel update - much appreciated. Without your help trying to keep up with the updates is a nightmare.
