Below are all of Desmond Collier's postings, with the most recent are at the bottom of the page.Alan,-should be able to get a signal of the CROSSPOOL transmitter,aerial has to be vertically polarised(i.e elements on aerial have to be vertical) to use it,possible your aerial system needs attention.i use a toshiba freeview hd set & it works a treat,would recommend it to anyone(receive signal from Belmont).

Cable services in Hull are owned by KINGSTON COMMUNICATIONS if i remember rightly.

Gerald:I have noticed this as well,on the hd channels,but have managed to improve the sound strength by altering my sound settings on my tv.BBC HD also transmits the sound in 5.1 dolby surround sound so this could be another reason.(on Belmont transmitter).

Receiving estuary tv on freeview 8 in Scawby & all o.k., will be interesting what people make of it.

Estuary in Grimsby is only on air 18 hours s day, what I've seen so far is good.

BBC1 from Belmont is now BBC1 East Yorks & Lincs, the HD channels are showing on epg with Aljazeera now broadcasting in HD.

jb 38:-,the model no on the back of the set is 40RV753,this tv is full 1080 hd with built in freeview hd tuner,the dongle i require is to allow me to use the internet linked services like VISION & STREAM,for which you have to have a freeview hd box or tuner built in,with internet input.Ido happento have the FULL manual for this set as i printed it of toshiba's website- all 78 pages of it!!!,this set is now just over ayear old,(bought jan 2011) is a cracking set,sd picutes very good,hd -excellent.
The shop where i bought it from quoted me the £80 for the internet dongle,would like to get it cheaper if poss!!.
