Now fixed. Turns out it was the fires/tar that had been causing the problem. The aerial was installed right over the chimney pot and the heat/smoke had damaged the internals. New aerial positioned in a much more sensible position and I'm back to good strength again.

I've noticed a drop in signal power over the last few weeks. All MUXs which used to be about 70/80 power are now down at about 25. The quality is still at 100 and have no problem with the channels but the real issue is that MUX channel 32 which includes BBC4 is now at zero and won't pick up.
Postcode CB22 5DT External aerial on roof/chimney breast. Booster/splitter in loft then leading to a Humax in the living room.
External ground view of aerial seems to be fine. The only idea I have is that we have had some wood fires recently, would this cause an issue with tar coating?
Any other ideas?
