This means that it is at a disadvantage of more than the factor of 2 implied by the relative transmit power, when compared with ITV multiplexes and even more when compared with BBC ones. It will still be at a disadvantage when it goes to full power in April.

Although not really interference (but neither are aerial group problems), selective fading due to multi-path effects, e.g. diffraction around an obstruction, could also knock out a single multiplex.
