Freesat has BBC1, BBC HD (thought to become BBC2 in the future), ITV1, CH4 and a Japanese News Channel.
Ch 5 want to be on Freesat but Freesat not seem to know that.

Digital terrestrial in N.Ireland I understand will have the RTE and BBC etc all over Ireland, north and south with correct specified TV or box.
DSO in N.Ireland 2012.
Are they transmitting yet?
Dusty when I was visting NI they were watching a football match that was not on UK stations via an aerial in noth east of Belfast.

Sorry Brian I did not say that I'm on Freesat in post sorry for missing that out, as we are in the present posts talking satellite Ch4.
I have no experience of Freeview HD only SD on that.
So what you think of Ch4 on Freesat do you think it same as other Freesat HD or better?

Thanks Brian I was also informed the bandwidth on the new satellite CH 4 use has more than the other HD stations, have you the figures for that?

We are expecting that Five HD might follow soon but they have annouced they have decided not to take the spare HD channel on Freeview.
Do we think they will not do HD on Freesat and remain Sky Only?

So in Five HD case Sky paying them to be encrypted and on the Sky EPG only.
Who is paying Astra then in this case Sky or Five?

CH4 HD is to me a lot better picture and I would say now the best quaulity HD picture of them all.
