Brian Duffy: Same SONY problems here in NW2 in London! I lost my Freeviewsignal last night with the tuner built into my Sony RDR-HX recorder. The recorder itself is behaving strangely. However I still have signal via my Panasonic TV with Freeview. There is an update for certain models of Sony here: http://www.sony.co.uk/sup…_124
which apparently should have been done a long time ago - but obviosuly I had no way of knowing about it. Have tried it now - burnt a cd with update, inserted into Sony, all went well but cannot be finalised now. Can't even turn it off now.
