Below are all of Robert McMillan 's postings, with the most recent are at the bottom of the page.I made a simple comment about the BBC. It's you that wants a discussion. No doubt you want me to supply links to websites etc. Do you want me to charge you by the hour? You should listen to channel 4 news from time to time and there is this thing called. "Google", you may have heard of it? Try using that. Like I said " seek and you will find". There's people who believe in God. There's people who read the Bible and then believe in God. Then there is people who neither read the Bible nor believe in God but demand that everyone else show them proof that God exists. I wonder what type of people you are? Get the picture?

I will have you know that I'm the height of witty ness. I don't abuse people BUT there is some people who are so institutionalised they cant even think right. If you continue to block you are depriving me of my freedom of speech. Prove that I was being abusive, go on or you could Google " Donald Trump doesn't pay tax" and Google BBC executive salarys and expenses or a combination of terms. Or you could just try and shout me down like modern leftwing folk do best.

Or in other words, if you disagree with me you are disagreeing with the N.Y Times, the Guardian and the BBC's own financial performance statistics and this is just the start. Research each individual executive at the BBC and you will find out just how much money they earn in total including all business interests. They're a bigger financial black hole to the U.K. than the N.H.S.

The BBC is good at taking the publics money and not offering much in return for it. Check out the tiers upon tiers of management and consultants they spend YOUR money on before a single series or program gets a hint of a green light.

Is this what it takes to finally get these dreadful types of t.v. shows off our screens? Shows that trade in human misery. Either that or ITV has just used the situation as an excuse to chop the show for the usual reasons that no doubt some individuals will want me to prove??? ITV did the same tactic a few years back when they wanted to make money, dump and then burn their phone in gambling shows.

Subtitles are great.... When they work!
It is the most frustrating thing of modern times when it takes double the length of time to watch a show because of all the skipping back on the remote control that has to be done because the subtitles keep going out of whack.
Any silence in the dialogue for 10 seconds or so sends the subtitling service hurtling in to next week.
Very, very frustrating.

What are you talking about? Sounds as if you're telling me off for something? I ONLY commented on this because of a connected article about subtitles. If U.K free t.v isn't happy, then why suggest seemingly unrelated articles? Or maybe it's just you that isn't happy?
Embedded or live broadcast subtitling services come in to our homes and televisions along with the overall broadcasters signal you know. So it's bang on subject.

Nothing wrong really with companies making all episodes available at once for people to dip in and out of whenever. Would rather they make things available than NOT making things available.

What did your last slave die of? Investigate yourself. I know more about business shenanigans in the real world than I'm happy knowing. Profit vs legit business expenses are what highly paid, top of their game lawyers say it is. Why do you think big corporations and businesses circumnavigate the law so much? Because they can. Seek and you will find. Don't rely on other people presenting information to you on a plate so you don't have to.
