Re: Mike Davison
Although teletext has ended on terrestrial TV and officially on satellite.
On BBC3 and BBC4 satellite (and possably other channels) there is a page 100 saying that Ceefax has ended.
Also on some channels on satellite you can still access the subtitles on page 888.
Go to BBC3 and press the subtitles button, then select teletext on your TV and go to page 888 and you will have two sets of subtitles.

P.S.
On my Sky box I can view Teletext with a TV connected using the UHF aerial lead,
but for some reason it doesn't work using the SCART lead.
This8s may be because I have the lead going thru a DVD recorder first.

jamie and ANN SHORTALL snow on your dish will stop it from working.
If the signal dose not return when the snow has melted then the dish may have moved or water has got in the dish LNB socket.
What signal level do you have?
Press SERVICES then 4 then 6 for signal test.

Re: Briantist
The page looks good, thank you.
My Granddad made the first colour TV.
He had a black and green cathode-ray tube from an old radar display at the end of the war and used it to make a black and green 405 VHF TV.
They used to show fish in a fish bowl between programs, so the fish looked better in black and green than black and white.
