Yes but I had heard that sometime this year RTE1 and 2 would be available on the Freeview system in the Belfast area. (normally you need a separate aerial pointing to Carlingford to get RTE).
I'm just wondering if this information is true?

DSO for Northern Ireland is Oct 2012. Any idea when HD and RTE transmissions will start before that date?
