While I can understand both sides of the fence when it comes to the BBC, I don't think it's going to be abolished or privately funded any time soon - having a publicly funded broadcaster probably has more pros than cons, so it should be kept.
But the licence fee - according to the BBC reports it costs £111m to collect - could surely be collected via general taxation? You'd get rid of all the fake detector vans, intimidating people and having to keep a big database, etc. - who wouldn't want that?

Paul: It already does, like each of the other 1000+ transmitters in the UK. If you mean BBC4 HD, then no it won't.

Noticed two channels appeared today when I scanned UHF 30 - 791 and 792, local TV test screens.

Maz: Please can you read the telephone number on your at800 postcard and call them instead, because no one on here has access to the at800 4G database.

Posting on a website that has no connection to Sky or any broadcasters will not help you in that matter. Contact Sky if you have problems with them!
