Below are all of Fred's postings, with the most recent are at the bottom of the page. Thanks Briantist, I've tried this previously though on your advice I've tried it again.
I am still unable to get any Sky text.
When I go to Channel 108 It tells me that frequencies have been changed and I need to re-scan.
Are you able to verify that Channel 108 gives you text on your reciever?
Thanks
Fred

Thanks again for your response.
I guess I'll just have to keep trying. Is it possible that it's a problem at the transmitter(Mendip)? Signal stength at my address? .... although I appear to get everything else satisfactorily.

Yes, I don't appear to have any other problems.
I did, up until about two weeks ago, get Text on Sky channels 11, 82. When this service 'ceased' I got the message to tune to Channel 108 which I did where I get a message that Channel 108 frequency has changed and I should re-scan.
I've tried this several times but still get the same message.

P.S. I have two set-up's in my home. One with a built in tuner and another with separate digi-box. The same 'fault' is on both installations.

Yes .... and I've just done it again with the same result. No Sky text ... just a message that I need to re-scan.

Hi Briantist
I've just done a check using your predictor. My postcode is BS37 4HD. I was surprised that the map produced defaults to the Ridge hill transmitter when it 'appears' that my strongest signal is from Mendip AND that is where I am aligned to. Just a comment. If that's the way it works, OK! Thanks.

Well! maybe, but M .. Mendip comes before R.. Ridge Hill in my alphabet. Hey-Ho, next question ?? But why worry?

Re: jill kitchker 24 January
I too have the same problem. I use Freeview. My system has worked well but in the past week I've tried to 'turn-on' teletext on Sky channels 11 and 44. I get a message to say that I should switch to channel 108 to get teletext on Sky. When channel 108 appears it tells me that Channel 108 has changed frequency and I should re-scan. I do this and I still get the same results ... no text on Sky channels
