BBC have only acknowledged a fault with BBC HD (which is very odd) - It seems they've now switched HD transmissions to backup, as they're reporting its now under "Very Weak Signal".
Not sure why they've got BBC HD back online and not ITV/C4/C5. I'd of thought that would take priority over HD.
(Though, i'm not really complaining. I'm glad I get Top Gear in HD tonight).
They don't make it very easy to contact them to try and ask questions like that either. Only by email, which'll take days.

Bath Bun,
I totally agree. I'm not sure why effort was even put into Mux HD for the freeview HD users before D3&4, unless they're unaware of any issues on that Mux (Which contains ITV, C4, C5, E4, etc - Basically any non BBC channel that we can get)
This is definitely a fairly big equipment failure (or a catastrophic response to a fault from Arqiva who look after the transmitter), so that explains why it wasn't detailed last night, but why the local websites on the BBC or thisisbath.co.uk aren't running stories about this is pretty unforgivable.
At least the weather has been good all day, but I suspect now the evening is starting many more people are going to be angry!

The weak signal only applies to HD Digital TV - Thats Freeview HD // Mux HD.
The BBC reception site doesn't even acknowledge a problem with non-BBC channels. Crazy.

Weather conditions permitting, I can sometimes get a signal from Mendip. I'm hoping it's power up later this month will actually give me more of the full freeview service!

Hearing reports on twitter that this transmitter is currently offline... I'm not home so unable to confirm.

This transmitter appears to be intermittently offline, according to reports in Bath.

Looks like Aquiva didn't update the Bath relay when PSB1 switched over and no one in Bath with freeview could get PSB1 for the majority of today.
I think it's all back now.

Bath
I noticed around 11:15 this morning that Bath Mux B and Mux HD have been off air.
It took BBC's reception website three hours to reflect the outage (even now it still just says HD is off air).
