Clive Holding: Check what your tuned into - Reigate is just 7km away, but Digital UK reckons your great for Crystal Palace (its so much easier with a postcode!).
After that, go through each mux - remember that 'no signal' or bad pixilation can come from too much signal as well. If the muxes are really low, then go through your system, because its a dodgy cable etc somewhere thats the most likely problem.

John: Your aerial system has a fault, and its just that one box (the Youview box is made by Humax anyway) is slightly more forgiving, for whatever reason. But your still about to loose signal.

Willie Bone: True, there is nothing quite like a live presenter, but that means a live presenter and a small technical staff, etc have to stay up all night. And you have to pay them to do that, if you can find someone willing to do it.
Unless its a phonein programme, or where you need live information, a recording will be fine for most people.

Mike: You havn't given a postcode, so we have no idea what sort of signal you should get. And you havn't described what the problem actually is - other than the SD channels are pixellated. Thats a bit like saying to a doctor 'I have this pain'.
Could be that your signal is rubbish, could be that the aerial is too small, could be that the cabling isn't quite right. But it could also be that your signal is too good, and that the tuner is being overloaded on some muxes. So we need signal strength on all the muxes, and what transmitter your actually tuned to.

Daz: If its that bad, why bother putting good money after bad? I'd just go Freesat.

Daz: You can be as stubbon as you like, but to quote Einstein:
'Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.'
Its you money, but how do you know its a 4G problem? The number of people who have actually had such a problem (as opposed to all the people who imagine thats the problem) is actually tiny. If you can't have a dish, thats one thing, but if you have a problem that can only be fixed by a high complex route, then you have to stand back.
BTW - whats the actual signal strength on the muxes in question? If you weren't in a dip, your signal path from both transmitters indicates you'd be fine with no booster etc at all.

John Ireland: We need a postcode and the signal strength of the muxes on both Humax's.
However, if your getting a decent signal on one box (and spur), then logically the problem must be with the other one. If signal strength is low across the board, check the main box - it could be hanging on, whereas the other is showing a problem with your system. If one is low, then its the spur.
If its too high, then it could be that box is just overloading slightly (Humax do sensitive tuners), and thus you get the 'no signal' message (too high/low can look similar). The other one might have a slightly less sensitive tuner, slightly less conductive aerial lead, etc.

AllanlLOYD: Check you signal level - is it too high or too low? And you might need to update the TV's apps - they get rewritten, etc.
