Richard Turner,you can receive the public service channels in upper Welshpool,off the Wrekin,hopefully,eventually all services,after Sept 28th.

Terry,you should be able to receive all channels fom Wed 28th Sept,if you then do a first time installation.Channels such as ITV 3 5* wil be transmitted at a much higher power also.

Brian,i see your measured powers have quoted for the single element,not the mixed polarization values in Kilo watts.Any reason for this?
All other publications quote mixed polarization values,though the Ofcom site,breaks down the power values between Vertical and Horizontal polarization as well,on FM Transmitters.

I know it takes more work,but i think it looks more accurate.For example many of the low power community Radio station FM transmitters, broadcast in the Vertical element only.
I just think you can't get enough Transmitter Coverage maps,so great work.

As a supplementry to the above,the mixed powers of any given FM Transmiter,are not always the same or even.

Yes,make sure your coverage maps are accurate in the first place!with respect,a lot are not.
For example Winter Hill FM.
Radio's 1,2,3,4,is narrow beam to Blackpool coast and West Lancashire,not omni-directionally as suggested in your map(as proved by BBC FM coverage map1989(3)9211.While Real and Smooth Radio surrounds all of the North-west.
I appreciate the hard work put into this,but accuracy is everything.

There is an upside to all this,in the fact that where i install TV aerials in South-east Shropshire.Within this area,i can receive useble signals from the Winter Hill transmitter in the north-west,in many locations,approx 85-100 miles,and because the line of direction is very close to the line of direction of The Wrekin i can bring in channels from Aquiva A.Aquiva A and B have been nulled here fro the Wrekin as not to interfere with two analogue channels at Brierley Hill(channels 57 and 53).This will all change on the 28th Sept,allilluliah!where all channels will be picked up omni-directionally from The Wrekin,final channel numbers and powers.
My point is,that it is good to receive an alternative BBC/ITV region,inthe 800's.
Incidently received a 41dB signal strength,with good quality of Moel-y-Parc BBCA mux,ch 45,from a favoured spot near the Shropshire/Worcestershire border.

Now that Sutton Coldfield is now fully switched,with allocated channel numbers/full powers,When will Arqiva B,Winter Hill go to full power(from 12.5Kw to 100Kw) on ch 55?
When will Moel-y-Parc,SDN ch51,Arqiva A ch 52,go to full powers.(from 2.5Kw to 10Kw)?
Dates please?

Mike Dimmick,thank you for that explanation,most informative.
Incidentally,i have carried out Aerial installations in 3 different areas of The Wrekin service area,today.Signal strength's on BBC A(ch 26)are similar to the 4 remaining analogue channels,which i did'nt expect.Very pleasing indeed.
