Many times I have found something I want to watch or record on ITV3 but I find I have missed the start
So I go to ITV3+!
BUT WITH ITV3+1 THE TRANSMISSION CAN STOP AT ANY TIME USUALLY ON THE HOUR
NO ADVANCE INFORMATION IS GIVEN
Tonight it stopped at 8pm and restarted at 9pm
Other recordings may stop at midnight
I WOULD PREFER IF ITV3+1 CEASED TO EXIST
What is worse if I start to watch (or record) a programme which disappears before the end it would be better if I hAd NOT started wtaching (or recording)
The one certainty is ITV3+! is totally unreliable
David Lindsay's solution in all the cases quoted above is to watch ITV3
Like the Irishman the advice seems to be f I were you I wouldnt start from here
In other words if you have missed the start of a programme on ITV3 I wouldnt bother attempting to watch it on ITV3+1 because there is absolutely no guarantee you will be able to see the end of that programme
AS IT HAPPENS Tonight I was fortunate I was able to swich to Freesat ITV3+1 during the period it was not being transmitted on Freeview (Poirot The Clapham Cook)
