The reason I ask is because the signal from the newcastle transmitter is so poor. On tuesday I couldnt even watch tv at all, it kept coming up no signal and was doing the same quite a bit yesterday. The aerial is on the roof and also attempted changing it to leitrim transmitter but its the same problem. I have spent £150 to get freeview, from a new tv to set top boxes (a hd one to get rte).

The analogue picture was perfect. The picture never changed during high winds, the only time it did was during a thunderstorm. I might try to turn the aerial towards divis to try. It couldn't really be any worse.

We had all the rte channels on our free view hd TV up until this afternoon. Tried retuning them in but to no avail. Can anyone help

Is it possible to pick up the signal from Divis in Castlewellan? If so how?
