thanks for the reply ,
I bought a new full hd tv last year which is equipped with a DVB-T2 tuner and we were happily watching Vintage tv , now I can't due to the fact that when they changed the channel the also changed the Frequency and my local Heathfield transmitter won't work with that frequency - so 1,000 s of people in the vicinity can't now receive Vintage , do you have any idea why this was done and what are the options for me now ?

I will do that , do you know why channel and frequency were suddenly changed ?
I am sure a lot of people will be a bit frustrated to lose this channel .

I am in exactly the same position - was working fine on ch 242 then after change to 86 nothing , I have spoken to Freeview and the problem lies in the fact that when Vintage TV changed the channel they also changed the frequency - Freeview are telling me that my local transmitter (Heathfield) can't accept the new altered frequency so because of this no one in the area can now receive Vintage . I have contacted Vintage by email , tweet etc but at this time they have given no satisfactory answer .
