bill simpson: You do know the dish has to be precisely aimed at the satellite in order to receive a signal?

Quentin Vole: We use tellies as monitors too.
On Windows XP, the displayed lines and text are at the level of single pixels - the dot on the letter 'i' is a single pixel. My 32 inch telly is too small for me to use at 1920x1080 so I use it at 1280x720.
Viewed at a distance of about four feet, we find a 42 inch (HD telly) is sufficient for use as a monitor at full HD resolution.
For an UHD panel to be equally readable, the pixels need to be the same size as in the 42 inch HD panel. Thus an 84 inch UHD panel would be required.

We call it Dutch Welly here. I recall watching an item on it about Beko using the Grundig name. Tellies coming off the Beko production line were being tested by a female worker for duff connections by a hefty bash with a rubber mallet!

Why is 'BBC One Wales HD' missing from BSkyB region 60 (BBC One Yorks/ITV1 Yorkshire East) in the 'HD Wales' bouquet but present in the same region in the 'DTH Wales' and 'Commercial Wales' bouquets?
Why is 'ITV Player' missing from Freesat region 62 (ITV1 Border Scotland) in the 'Scotland G2' bouquet but present in the same region in the 'Scotland HD' bouquet?
These are probably errors of omission in the Service Tables.
Having seen a few such reports of missing services, I thought it might be useful to upload the full regions dumps for the two networks, so here they are:

Not Deutsche Welle after all!
The 'new' channel 55118 detailed above, is in fact a copy of 'My Channel', probably for a transponder move, which just happened to be showing 'DW News', which it does twice daily.
BSkyB info:
My Channel - the essential guide to what's hot, what's not, what's happening and what's worth watching out for.

Sparky: In addition to the advice offered by jb38, I would first tune to a channel with the lowest signal quality and adjust the dish so as to maximise hat quality.
Once the dish is optimally aligned, adjustment of LNB skew (rotation) and distance from the dish (focal point) may bring a further increase in quality.
In fact I would try adjustment of LNB skew first as that might be all that's needed.

A tricky looking transponder move has occurred for PBS America on the BSkyB network.
Whoever executed this sequence has inadvertently carried over the encryption status.
Thus the FTA PBS America is now flagged as encrypted.

The Freesat data for PBS America is now valid.
Services are uniquely identified by three numbers: ONID TSID and SID.
Thus the NEW service '52225' on the ASTRA (BSkyB) network is called 'PBS America' on the Freesat network.
