PBS America is a new factual channel from America's Public Broadcasting Service. As well as bringing viewers historical and current affairs programming, the channel will also captivate audiences with powerful films such as Spy at the Hanoi Hilton and the Oscar-nominated Last Days in Vietnam.

How to Watch: PBS America

Below is a list of all the television and radio channels that you can watch in the UK using one of the free services: analogue, DAB (for radio), Freeview, Sky No Card - Sky without a viewing card (Freesat from Sky (or fSfS)) and Freesat.. Where a channel can be watched for free, the channel number is listed below. In addition, if you can watch (or listen) immediately online, press the button in the "web" column.

As some channels are exclusive to one service alone, you may need to get receive more than one service to get all the channels you want. The coverage for Freeview differs too - those channels not provided by the public service "Freeview Light" transmitters the current coverage shown thus (54%), taken from Connected Nations Report 2017: Data analysis'

c) anything else that might have a bearing

The only assumption I made was it's probably the digital cliff edge, some of the reasons for which may in part be addressed by the questions posed by nobody.

There doesn't seem to be any reports of transmitter problems either by the BBC or Freeview and there's no Planned Maintenance listed. Has the channel returned now? It was several hours ago and I'm wondering if it was just a fault with that particular channel as you say all others are ok.

When you say all other channels are OK, I assume you mean all those on the same (COM8) multiplex. That is the SD channels 55, 64, 69, 83, 89, 96 & HD channels 106, 111, 114, 205 see

I note that reception of all the COM (4-8) multiplexes at your location could be poor. How do find reception normally?
Was there anything you may have done before the loss, ie. have you retuned recently?
