How to Watch: NvTv

Below is a list of all the television and radio channels that you can watch in the UK using one of the free services: DAB (for radio), Freeview, Sky No Card - Sky without a viewing card (Freesat from Sky (or fSfS)) and Freesat.. Where a channel can be watched for free, the channel number is listed below. In addition, if you can watch (or listen) immediately online, press the button in the "web" column.

As some channels are exclusive to one service alone, you may need to get receive more than one service to get all the channels you want. The coverage for Freeview differs too - those channels not provided by the public service "Freeview Light" transmitters the current coverage shown thus (54%), taken from Connected Nations Report 2017: Data analysis'

From Wikipedia: It is operated by the Northern Visions media and arts project, and although some staff are employed by the station, most involved are volunteers. NvTv is the only local community station in Northern Ireland. Initially NvTv broadcast just one hour of programming on weekdays which was repeated on loop, with shows repeated again at the weekend however, the station has now expanded its content and covers community and other events in and around the Belfast metropolitan area, as well as other commissioned programmes. - link icon read more about NvTv on wikipedia (summary by Clipped).

Freeview multiplex: NvTv is on a special local multiplex broadcasting only to the Belfast area.

NTV can be received in Killyleagh (BT30 9GB), 20+miles away , with a moderate signal using a left aerial (in a 2nd floor apartment - not line-of-sight to Black Mountain).
