BobbyE: Freesports HD launched on Sky and Freesat last month, which was followed by the SD version closing. If you have a Freesat SD box then it will no longer be available, however if you have a HD box try putting the box in standby, then turn the power off for 10 minutes, then turn it back on and your channel list should update.

Hi. I'm a Sky subscriber & have a Sky + box. I watch Freesport fairly regularly, but recently all I get is sound & no picture, just a blue screen. All my other channels are fine which makes me wonder if it's the actual channel rather than my Sky + box or connections? Would like some info/help on this if possible? If I record a program on Freesport as it is,will it be get a picture when viewed or will it still be blank? Thank you!

Steve Williams: How long has this been happening? What happens if you power the Sky box off at the mains for 5-10 minutes, then turn it back on again?

MIHAI MUNTEANU:

If you are talking Freeview, it's LCN64 on the COM8 mux which you should be able to receive with very good reception from the Crystal Palace Transmitter.
If you are talking satellite it seems to be High Definition FreeSports HD Astra 2E [UK Spotbeam] DVB-S2 QPSK 11426 V 29500 8/9 (but I'm no satellite expert).

Your favourite search engine is your friend ;) This is one of many potential sources -
https://www.freeview.co.uk/support/technical-faqs/how-do-i-convert-uhf-channel-numbers-to-frequency-mhz.html

COM8 is/will be on UHF56 at all transmitters shortly (where it is transmitted), which is already the case at Crystal Palace.
C56 centre frequency is 754Mhz.
