My Post Code is PR4 1SH and receive all the Freeveiw channels for North West England on Channes 49, 50, 54, 55, 58 and 59. However I can not get a signal from Channel 31, for BBC4HD plus others.

Is the intention to move these programmes into the North West channel grouping or am I going to have to get a broadband aerial?

Thank you

G Hinks: This is how it's done these days - a hotch potch of different channel groups. The days of all transmitters carrying channels all in a single one third of the band "group" are long gone.

In around five years time expect channels 49 to 60 to be sold off to the mobile phone network operators. Then Winter Hill's channels will have to move downwards.

Posting again as my comment yesterday was deleted.

The BBC have announced that BBC Four HD and CBeebies HD will move to the PSB3 multiplex when COM7 closes at the end of June, which should increase coverage by making these channels available in HD from every transmitter. BBC News HD will close on Freeview but remain available in SD. No exact date has been announced yet for any changes to take place.
