Nothing changed when it happened, i was watching ITV1 one minute, the next the display was saying no signal. Cables and connections inhouse are fine. If something happened externally there's no way of knowing.
With the analogue indoors aerial I only get BBC1 & BBC2 (which are both clear and NOT snowy) and ITV, C4 and C5 say no signal and the screen is black.

Channels 3 to 6, 8, 10, 12 to 18, 22 to 24, 26 to 28 (which includes all ITV and C4 stations) have suddenly gone blank this afternoon. I re-tuned thinking this would help now these channels are just not showing at all :(
