Hi, well I wasn't seeing any specific problems when I checked but I do want to check again with a "live" studio programme such as 5 News at 5, or Jeremy Vine!
Next (possibly silly) question, is it any particular/specific programmes?
Also note the sound is frequently out of sync on Play Ojo Live, that's not unusual!

Just to add, Tacolneston is now currently listed for Planned Engineering. Whether that'll affect your reception, whether it's routine or whether it's because of your Ch.5 issue remains to be seen!

Those circular aerials generally don't give quite as good a signal as a simple dipole, so you could try that. If you are talking loft installation, you could experiment with a wire dipole. I presume you are using it horizontally, whilst you are generally limited for space in a loft, vertical might give a better signal.
If you are sticking with horizontal polarisation, you could try a half-wave dipole pointing a bit off-beam from Wrotham, say point it around NNE, you should still get pretty much the same signal from Wrotham but possibly better reception of the local stations from Reigate.

Interesting point in the post above.
I see we have some spurious old posts coming up in the "Your comments" !!

When you say "I can only receive West Midlands TV channels" are you meaning that your local news is now just West Midlands (or maybe a mix of both West and East)? Is this just the BBC or is it ITV as well?
Is anyone else on your communal system having similar problems? Do have a quick look up at its TV aerial(s) to see if they are still pointing correctly - fractionally S of due E (compass bearing 106 deg.).
Do of course check you are still correctly tuned to Waltham's UHF channels -
In the order PSBs1-3, COMs4-6 the UHF channels for Waltham are C32, C34, C35, C29, C37, C31 but of course your communal system might mean you cannot get signals on other UHF channels from other transmitters.

I thought the email system might have got broken again but one turned up this morning saying there was 787 new comments! :o
Maybe some connection with the spurious old comments that appeared on the page a few days ago.

I think what nobody was meaning was the fact that the box was there was an encouragement for spammers to fill it in and post whilst we of course understand that it's optional. BUT is there any real need for it? If there's a good reason for a poster to want to identify their website, surely they can include the url in their post?

Apologies, I haven't been able to watch Ch.5 as I'd intended.
I did manage to catch a few moments of the end of Casualty 24/7 just now and the sound might have been out of sync but I didn't see enough of it to be sure. I'm now watch the programme on 5+1 and there's no problem on that.
I'll try and catch some live broadcasts tomorrow.

Ah, when I clicked on the link in your name, the page was showing the network rail logo in that page header, I didn't pay any attention to the url :o
You must be having "fun" trying to redo some of this site's code, I would imagine that it's quite complex!
I see you're moving about a bit, current;y in Halifax :D
Links in "Your comments" for posts seem to be popping up a bit randomly atm, one for Darvel 10 days ago. is the most recent oddity.
I see the Spam is creeping back again :(
