This is the Local Brighton Mux L-BTN. You aren't the only one who is reporting a problem. The transmitter isn't currently listed for Planned Engineering, but as this is a commercial multiplex, the chances of finding a fault report are negligible.
I'm not sure but I think the Local channel is run by Latest TV Ltd. Try giving them a ring on 01273-687171.
If you retuned when you had no signal, it'll likely have just cleared the correct tuning, so you'll need to repeat the retune when there is signal.

The Sutton Coldfield transmitter was listed for Planned Engineering recently. Whilst it's not listed now, the work may not be complete and this may be the cause. But as StevensOnln1 has said, this temporary multiplex is due to close at the end of June.

Hi Jack. Talking Pictures is on the ArqB/COM6 multiplex, UHF C39 at Sutton Coldfield.
Reception of C26 will have no bearing whatsoever on this. IIRC, your location and direction your aerial points means you are very likely to get C26 - it's the Wrekin transmitter BBCA/PSB1. Signals from this multiplex come quite well into your area. You had previously identified it as West Midlands. The fact that the channels get overwritten by BBCA/PSB1 from Sutton Coldfield is also of no consequence.
Some sort of interference is certainly something to investigate. I presume you've checked that you haven't got HDMI leads or similar close to any of your aerial cables?
Do you have any similar problem with other channels on ArqB?
See Channel listings for Industry Professionals | Freeview for which channels are carried on which multiplex.
I'm sure I've asked this before, you haven't got any older equipment with an Analogue RF output operating on/near C39 (even C34 or C30)?
You could try disconnecting everything and only connect one Humax at a time to see if the problem occurs with each one individually in case it's something silly with a fault on one of them.

Sorry, forgot to mention, you could try giving Talking Pictures a call on 01923290555 to check if they are aware of any problems, just in case, but I think it unlikely as there doesn't seem to be any other reports.

Your best bet is to continue to hassle the Clarion Housing Association about the tree.
Are you the only person affected by this tree or are there others whose reception has been disrupted?
If so, get them to hassle the Clarion Housing Association.

The Barskeoch Hill transmitter is DAB only as far as I can confirm. The nearest FM transmitter serving your area is Sandale roughly to your ESE, it's SW of Carlise and would normally give you good reception.
The BBC are reporting that the transmitter is on reduced power due to essential engineering.

At present BBC3 timeshares it's transmission space with CBBC as it did before they took it off Freeview transmission and increased CBBC airtime by two hours which they reduced again to put BBC3 back on Freeview.
That AOL article is misleading because it doesn't contain all the facts, the BBC are proposing to have the channels on-line (iPlayer). See BBC to move CBBC and BBC Four online - BBC News

You are totally mistaken if you think the possible loss of Forces TV when COM7 closes is a case of "someone somewhere wants it off our screens through planning or neglect."

Hardly a "mystery link" when it's on ukfree.tv the site where you are currently posting!
IIRC you posted virtually the same point in two different threads on this site. The link was supposed to be a link to a response from another poster to your comment in the other thread, but unfortunately it went to the wrong one, which should have been https://ukfree.tv/extras/…6414
As far as points go, there is little point in you posting such comments here as none of the broadcasters, but especially the BBC or those watching BBC3 are ever likely to see your comments here.
