No, the transmitter hasn't stopped transmitting the HD channels. Its a PSB service, no transmitter will stop broadcasting them.
The transmitter was listed for Planned Engineering and although not on the current list, we know that it's not always 100% accurate and work may have over -run. The work means there may be interruptions to transmission, although usually short.
There are currently no listed faults for Lark Stoke.
I'm afraid retuning when you had no signal is never recommended if you were correctly tuned.
You cannot tune to signals that aren't there or can't be decoded, the usual outcome is it clears your correct tuning!
The HD multiplex is on UHF C30 at Lark Stoke, try a MANUAL tune of C30.
If you provide a full postcode we chancheck your predicted reception and whether Lark Stoke is your best choice of transmitter and if there's the possibility of interference from Mobile masts.

Have your signals now returned? There are not reported faults for the Conisbrough Relay transmitter (nor has it been listed for Planned Engineering recently).. BUT, you are not likely to be getting your signals from there in the first place.
You mention losing GBNews which is carried on one of the commercial multiplexes which are not broadcast from Relay transmitters. Only the main Public Service (PSBs) are broadcast from Relay transmitters.
If you provide a full postcode we can check which main transmitter you are likely to be receiving and also check if you might be subject to interference from new/upgraded phone masts.
Have you done basic checks such as make sure you aerial plugs are in correctly and that your aerial looks intact and is still pointing correctly?

Brian Butterworth: I had 37 update emails at 1554 and a further 5 at 1603. From a quick check they appeared identical.

Hi Carol. As you are so close to Sutton Coldfield I wouldn't have expected any real issues. However the transmitter was listed for Planned Engineering earlier in the week and that work may not be completed, but breaks in transmission are usually short. There aren't any faults currently listed.
It actually isn't a good idea when you are correctly tuned to retune when you have no signal - you cannot tune to signals that aren't there! The usual result is to just clear the correct tuning.
As it's just the BBCB HD and the D3&4 multiplexes that you are missing. if you haven't now got them back, then try a MANUAL tune on UHF channels C40 for BBCB HD and C46 for D3&4.
Do check obvious things such as your coax plugs etc. plugged in correctly and that your aerial still looks intact and is pointing correctly.
If you are still having issues, please post back with as much detail as possible.

If you haven't got ArqB back then try a MANUAL tune on C37.
If you are still having problems, please post back with a full postcode and more details of any issues you have and also Signal strength and Quality figures for each of the other multiplexes.

If you lost C4 HD, then i would have expected you to have lost the other HD channels as they are carried on the same multiplex.
There was Planned Engineering listed earlier in the week and this might be the cause of your issue, but breaks are usually short.
If you are still having issues, please post back with a full postcode and ideally the Signal Strength and Quality figures you get for each of the multiplexes usually found in your TV tuning section.

This page is primarily Freeview so would only have those radio stations that are/were on Freeview.
Currently, there's a bug in the links (they're the wrong way round) -

Hi Rai. Well your signal quality under "normal" circumstances should be 100%. If not, it indicates something isn't ideal.
Leaving that aside for a moment, you mention an LTE filter. Is that an 800MHz filter or a 700MHz one from Restore TV?
If not the latter, see https://restoretv.uk/post…ure/ and put your postcode in there, you should have had a postcard. THe 700MHz filter would replace the 800MHz one as it will block that as well (anything about C48. The filter is Free, contact Restore TV.
You are surrounded by quite a few mobile masts.
(Note: a filter should go before any preamp/splitter if there's one in use to feed more than one TV/Box).
