Had set reorder for snooker on channel 12. got screen msg saying retune necessary, did this and found Quest was on 790. did a full return on recorder to get thing right only to find 790 gave a blank screen which 12 was showing r snooker.
What the heck is happening

Not really a transmission problem but would welcome any useful advise or indication if other are having similar trouble. Problem is............
Over recent months I have been unable to load Channel 4 via my HUMAX set to box.
Having selected C4 I receive all the pre-programme adverts but then get the 'this is disappointing etc.' screen.
I have tried reset the HUMAX box and resetting C34 which is the Mendip Transmitter channel but with no luck.
I my TV is a Samsung which is to old to receive the ITVX broadcast. Is this why I cannot get C4?
Advice would be most welcome.

The set top box is FVP-4000T HUMAX and the TV is Samsung. The box and the TV are recognised as not being able to receive the new ITVX transmissions. Both receive TV signal via external aerial and copper coax cable.
Currently, there is no problems receiving other Freeview channels.

have e-mailed Channel 4 but no response as yet.
connected my laptop via HDMI link and had not trouble getting channel 4.
It's frustrating because the HUMAX/Sansung combination did work in the past. just can't think what I could have changed that is causing the problem.

BBC 1, 2 & 4 plus ITV and others showing signal too week to receive transmission. Been like this since mid morning. Freeview appears to be OK. Anything known? My location Yeovil BA 21 4NW

following a successful retune of my box earlier in the week, channel 35 [gbnews] was dropping out this morning.
was this weaher relayed?
