Thanks Mike analogue is snowy without amplifier, channels all point to C. P. except BBC 2 which is comming in on C64. Will talk to Management co. to get it checked out.

I have just bought a Digital Stream HD recorder. It pickes up the SD channels but Not the HD ones. I live in a small block of flats with a communial arial in the roof. We are on a hill in Crouch End. Could this be that the ariel if pointing to Ally Pally (It was installed long before digital TV and we actually have an uninterupted view of The Ally Pally mast) instead of Crystal Palace? Freevie signels generally are a bit weak here and I am using an ariel amplifier.
