Below are all of ian a's postings, with the most recent are at the bottom of the page.leslie rainer- TalkTalk and BT Vision do not, effectively, offer more free channels. they are freeview boxes with internet packages tied into them.
You may find a cheaper package that suits you but you will need an aerial for the basic workings of their boxes?

John Long- Do a manuel signal check on ITV, CH4, CH5 and ITV2. Do each one seperatly! They should all be coming from the same signal frequency, If ITV is different your equipment has stored a rogue signal? Also check your channel list in the 800's to see if there another ITV there? Does ITV+1 carry subtitles?

Dereck- Do you have a booster fitted that is overloading your signal? You may need an attenuater fitted?

James- The equipment you are using to receive ch47 signal needs to be fitted with a DVBT-2 tuner where as the rest of the signals will be the standard DVBT

Paul- It sounds like 4G could be an issue when its rolled out, On the Bromsgrove Transmitter, tho with a pylon already confusing signals it doesn't mean much. Just to note, The Cell Phone mast must be "chosen" to use the "800" frequency's for it to cause interference ? If you want to retune your PVR can you do it manually? Sutton Coldfield uses frequency's 39,42,43,45,46 and I think HD is 50 but check that? Manual tune will stop high pressure confusing the results. High pressure may still cause interference tho.

Dale Martin- As far as i'm aware, 4G has only been tested in certain areas and at this moment no one can be affected by it because it isn't "turned on" yet
