CFB - You men on Freeview? You should be able to get Sky News on 82 NOW.
But most Sky channels are only on Satellite!

Bob-ji - Are others in the area having same problem? If so, probably weather, or adjustment of transmitters.
If just you, has aerial moved? Should point due south I think.
If you have multiple TVs try connecting one at a time.

A Field strength of 52 dBV/m is not super strong, but should be fine.
You do have a rooftop aerial? Is it looking through trees? (LL145HD)

Paul - see note in bold text above re low power from Wrekin until Sept. Though I get them OK from further away.
But your aerial is probably not a correct gropu for Ch53/57

The wolfbane link thinks you should be OK, but if your postcode area is large you may be in a bad bit.
How have you optimised your aerial pointing? Harder to do without special equipment. And do you have a new direct feed coax from aerial to TV?
What do neighbours experience?
You could use two aerials - one V one H. Some boxes accommodate dual feed ins - if not, plug in/out.
And finally, IMHO what you pay an aerial fitter for is local knowledge, as well as clambering around!

Paul - try a cheap booster amp - might make a critical difference.
Or a masthead!
Or ask local ae fitters what they can do for how much. You may get useful advice for free!

Sounds very odd. Are you sure it has even GOT a digital tuner?
What can you pick up on new TV.?
If you put new TV in place of present one - same aerial etc. it should get all the same channels, unless you are VERY marginal for reception.

Jerry - I know nothing about these things but wonder if a box 9300 might be a variant of 9200, so also bad. Think worth checking!

JohnB - I am no expert on Skyboxes, but IIUC the "RF Out" from a skybox would be whatever came into its "RF In" PLUS a simulated RF signal of whatever the Skybox was receiving/replaying. Obviously the Skybox needs to be set to use a "Spare RF" channel - as suggested by top right of this page - which does not conflict with any broadcast channel used locally.
But if your TV has SCART it is better to use that as it avoids adding and then removing the RF carrier.
So as TVs have to be VERY old not to have SCARTs few modern boxes provide RF outputs. You can get it for freeview - and as you suggest it is compatible with much existing in-house cabling.
