It took them decades to spread the FM signal - and there are still gaps.

DAB is even more troubled by terrain

SS - sounds more like a marginal signal than a bad box.

Could you try it elsewhere, or a different one where you are?

MF - he has - PE19 1JP

Big signal from SH. as no-one else complaining, sounds like bust kit.

Powercycle, rescan, ask locals if theirs OK

Ruth - you have a decent signal so Dave is probably right.

Can you contact previous occupants?

I think old satellite used ordinary Coax connectors rather than the new F style.

Might be easiest/cheapest to get a Freesat box.

Alvin - what benefit. I have many FM receivers built into bits of kit I have no thought of replacing.

DAB is weak and heavy on batteries.

Simon - take your small bedroom TV and box to one of the other places and see if you get all channels.

Ian P - is that an external aerial?

You may not need it. Try with juds the fly lead, or aany wire in the inner coax connection.

Digital signals can be too STROING for the box to cope with!

What is "The Tonge House" ?

Ian - have you compared notes with neighbours?

Did you use Freeview before the analogue closedown?

Are you in sight of C Pal or is there a hill in the way? This shows a HUGE signal

Are you getting a picture without the aerial plugged in? You may need a wire lifted up a bit - esp on ground floor. And caox is not ideal - but hust a flylead lead up to a windowframe works fine for me in Herne Hill.
