As for the antiference splitters I have yet to come across them yet. Which supplier do you use? I use about 6!
As for the aerial side of things I have just installed a new log and 80cm dish picking up astra 1, 2 and Hotbird feeding SKY and polish TV into every room! Had a bit of a quiet spell and decided to get something done! Will add DAB at later date, I don't even own a DAB radio!

Mr Etherington, I live in Cinderford and would be more than happy to discuss anything with you face to face. My advice is free and so it won't cost you a penny!

Normally if you have strength but no quality the distribution amplifier (if you have one) has failed. They can fail very quickly which fits in with what you describe above. If you don't have an amplifier then I would suggest waiting for the transmitter works to finish.

Dave: Thank you very much I had a funny feeling that this may be the case as it is very rare to have a lot of people with exactly the same fault! (although it does happen!)
Thank you for the reply

mazbar: I hate it when I see a wall bracket or a skydish drilled into the chimney! I take it your charge is only for a small aerial, bracket, mast etc? at that price I would be making a loss! I am also not a member of cai, but I offer a 2 year parts and labour guarantee and use only the best components. no screwfix crap here!

Steven Tracey: What is your postcode as it is difficult to give technical info without first knowing exactly where you are.
