I live in Woodford Green. Crystal Palace is said to be my Transmitter but the line of signal route(Green line on a map I have seen) passes through the Poplar Freeview light transmitter.
Since Thursday I have no channels and only a black screen. It is not possible to retune the TV because the screen is totally black.
Engineering works were scheduled for the Poplar transmitter for the week commencing 20th January. The proms started on the 24th January and is exactly the same as the warning for the Poplar Engineering works.
How can this problem be resolved?

I live in Woodford. My Freeview screen has gone completely black. No information at all is visible. I did some digging around to find information and according to Freview customer services my signal is from Crystal Palace. However, on the map of my signal route the green line also passes directly through the poplar transmitter.
I am not convinced that the fault with my signal which is exactly the symptom described for the Poplar Engineering works has happened during the period of the works and is unrelated to to the works.
My questions are:
When will these works finish
What do we do to recover from the blank screen
Does someone just need to pu the power up
Does the Poplar transmitter act as a booster for Crystal Palace
There is generally poor signal in my area and it was only a few weeks ago I bought a poster and things were working absolutely fine, until sometime on Thursday.
