I used the frequency link in your response to my question about Crystal Palce and an out of band frequency (43). What is happening to all the starred frequencies that are in use before the switch over ? What is wrong with using them after the switch ?

If I want to listen to a station that is on FM and DAB I have to choose FM. This is because in my town the DAB signal disappears for quite some distance as I drive round the ring road. DAB needs to improve before it can take over from FM.

Why is the seventh multiplex at crystal palace going to be out of band after swithch over ?
Chs 32,32 and 34 were used previously, why not use one of them in future ?
