Brian: Just to tidy this off. I was at the local Supermarket this morning and whilst there I picked up a DAB Radio for £25. No frills and as you would expect nothing special but it works quite well and '4 Extra' is now back with me on demand which will do nicely till they re-think the Alba situation. Thanks again for your help.

Brian: Amazing work once again. I must say that I do have a strong affinity for analogue sound. Maybe it's an age thing but both at work and recreationally quite often I struggle to give the thumbs up to digital audio. There's no substitute for quality. Cheers for all your genius!

Lawrence: Consoltronic Ltd, via Amazon, do one for a couple of quid. Maybe worth a try? Hope this helps.

How time flies Brian ... Another year older and yet again, no wiser. Best wishes to you and yours for 2014.
As of two weeks ago our full list of Radio Channels has been restored without the evening interruption so life is again good :-)

Mike B: Absolutely correct. I had a reception problem in June with on of c44 Mux and replacing a 3M coax internal extension cable solved my problem. Cable cost under £5. Time to change the cable over and dispose of the old one 10 minutes. I use the Blackhill Transmission Service.
