When Winter Hill changed frequencies on the 20th for stage 2 I expected to receive the Welsh digital stuff from Cefn Mawr. Is the transmitter even switched on! Channels 53 57 and 60 on my tv all are showing "no signal", not even a twitch. So before having the ariel rechecked any advise please.

Channels for Cefn Mawr are 53,57 and 60. The Wrekin is still transmitting (albeit on low power) on 53 and 57 and drowning little old Cefn. I can't disable the Wrekin ariel since from home the Wrekin and Cefn transmitters are almost in line.
I am also receiving channels from Sutton Coldfield which is also more or less in line.

Any advice on how to get some Welsh stuff without losing the Midlands progs.

The Wrekin is still transmitting on 53 & 57 at low power of 1000w.and that is the problem. Progs include Picktv, Dave, Challenge and Film4. If I unplug all ariels and use only a small indoor one aimed across the valley at Cefn channels 53 and 57 are ok but of course all the midlands stuff has disappeared. I guess that until or unless the Wrekin stops using 53 and 57 or Cefn changes I'm in Wales without Welsh tv.

Mike Dimmick,
Not sure what's changed since last night but yet another first time install this pm picked 53 and 57 from Cefn not the Wrekin which it was doing last night.
This site is still showing 53 and 57 as low power from the Wrekin so with my experience that has to be incorrect but I've got the Welsh stuff in the 800's so I'm happy.

Thanks for your help
