Are you receiving programming from Pontop Pike most likely,or less likely Bilsdale mast ?
You may have to reset your affected appliance as such by unplugging from mains, unplug aerial then 1 minute later re-plug in the appliance concerned and leaving the aerial out still do a full auto scan, the result nothing is picked up by clears your appliances memory. Now replug aerial back in and if the affected appliance allows this time perform manual scanning it should work.
As far as analogue is concerned only BBC2 analogue so far has gone forever,BBC1 analogue as relocated to frequency 64 but this along with ITV1,Channel 4 AND Channel 5 analogue will all go for good in the early hours of Wednesday 26 September 2012,DSO2.

Roz,Altrincham.I would strongly look up single frequency interference as the likely culprit for your current diificulty.

Stuart Swaine,Bradford.A tricky question to answer, but come 2050 onwards the likely possibility of 1,000+ UHD channels via terrestrial aerial on only 1 multiplex will be the norm.Bearing in mind normal SD and 1080p HD broadcasts will be switched off by then, that is advanced technology progressing with the times.

AM Jones.Morley,Leeds.No Emley Moor is on normal power as far as i am aware, you may have to rescan using the manual scanning method instead of the automatic scan which obviously picked up BBCA from Bilsdale on frequency 26,the auto scan always picks up lower frequencies first.

Stuart Swaine,Bradford. Not that i am aware of,the signal quality and strength respectively on BBCA frequency 47 from Emley Moor in my locality measures 100% and 71%.I would look up single frequency interference as a likely culprit.

Interesting to note that in the early hours of tomorrow morning Wednesday 26 September 2012 the four remaining analogue channels BBC1,ITV1,Channel 4,Channel 5 along with the lower powered pre-digital switched Mux's 2,A,B,C,D will all be switched off for good. However looking thru tonights programme schedules, they will definitely be interupted on the analogue platforms and any one could go first, not necessarily BBC1 going first and Channel 5 going last,it could go in any order. As i can receive snowy analogue reception here in Halifax from Bilsdale tonight its a case of dont blink as you will miss it.(Analogue going off suddenly forever, and in no particular order).

Yes,I can receive the new 100kw high powered D3+4 multiplex from Bilsdale on frequency 29 here in Halifax,HX2 9JY,House No3,using the borrowed group W wideband aerial in my bedroom with my signal booster/amplifier on giving 99% Signal Quality and 71% Signal Strength.Without the signal booster it pixellates, but using my normal set-top aerial with/without amplifier frequent pixellations, breaking up to No Signal mode.
As for BBCB on frequency 23 from Bilsdale as my set-top box is non-HD,Signal Quality 0% understandably, but Signal Strength 69%,so a decent HD box/TV can receive HD programming from Bilsdale in my locality.BBCA on frequency 26 from Bilsdale already 99% Signal Quality and 69% Signal Strength again the same as two weeks ago using my borrowed group W wideband aerial in my bedroom with signal booster/amplifier on.Will update again soon relating to the 50kw COM multiplexes from Bilsdale,if they are attainable at my abode indicated earlier in this text.

Update concerning the 50kw COM muxs from Bilsdale. All receivable here but with occasional pixellations, again using my borrowed group W wideband aerial in my bedroom with the signal booster/amplifier on,again without this reception is problematic.I will conduct further tests in due course.

Sue Underhill. If you require help you will need to provide a full postcode preferably or failing this your nearby location as such to ascertain reception possibilities where you reside.
Unless you do we cannot be of any useful help to you as you could be anywhere in the UK,Ireland or even elsewhere on earth !
