Thomas,Leeds.Well not long to go now. However you stated your group B aerial should filter out Bilsdale, but come DSO2 in two weeks time the 50kw COM multiplexes SDN,ArqA and ArqB from Bilsdale on frequencies 43,46 and 40 respectively will instead possibly store these instead of the Emley Moor equivalents and those will not store in the 800+ channels list after Bilsdale completes DSO2.The 100kw PSB multiplexes BBCA,D3+4 and BBCB (HD) from Bilsdale itself on frequencies 26 (the former soon to come on within 1 hour,etc),29 and 23 respectively (the latter two in two weeks time) are probably unlikely to be stored first as such but you never know.Unless your appliance can scan manually an autonmatic scan can be very troublesome in your locality.

Well not long to go now, this being my last text before BBC2 analogue goes off permanently very soon, who knows the programme China on Four Wheels currently on could be either switched off anytime now or goes off after the programme has finished transmission.

BBC2 analogue from Bilsdale switched off for good at 12.21am just as the programme China on Four Wheels almost ended as the end credits were just starting.
The other four analogue channels BBC1,ITV1,Channel 4 and Channel 5 are all off but its another two weeks for them before they are all switched off for good.

Sorry it took me so long but after trying with the borrowed group W wideband larger aerial,set-top aerial, signal booster/amplifier,etc,despite its difficulties i have managed to receive the BBCA multiplex from Bilsdale on frequency 26 in my location the far north of Halifax,HX2 9JY house number 3,using the larger borrowed group W wideband with amplifier on,Signal Quality 99% Signal Strength 67%,without the signal booster it occasionally pixellates, however the set-top aerial with and without signal amplification gives poor results at best frequent pixellations at worst No Signal. And before i mention it the larger aerial is in my bedroom so a mixed response to the 100kw BBCA mux from Bilsdale for now, interesting to see in two weeks time whether the D3+4 mux from Bilsdale on frequency 29 is attainable in my location despite a single frequency interference issue concerning Waltham SDN mux also on frequency 29 normally not receivable unless an inversion effect situation lifts that signal towards my abode. No BBCB (HD) im afraid as my box is non-HD but the 50kw COM mux's come two weeks time is less promising as far as i am concerned, still there's no harm as at least Emley Moor is my main transmitter plus Belmont and Winter Hill as well as Bilsdale are ideal alternatives in emergency situations.

Williamson. As you did not leave a full postcode or a nearby location as such,we cannot be of any valuable help to you.
All i can say is you have too much signal.

Hi there,in reply to your earlier text today at 2.57pm,my situation is mixed,i can receive BBCA from Bilsdale on frequency 26 but the results are not too promising,i can only get it with an enlarged borrowed group W wideband aerial in my bedroom with the amplifier (signal booster) on with occasional pixellations, sometimes breaking up into No Signal mode, without the signal booster regular pixellation and no signal mode, but nothing at all using my smaller set-top aerial (group W type) with and without signal amplifier.
Yet from Belmont further away using my set-top aerial without signal booster BBCA (fr 22),D3+4 (fr 25) multiplexes are largely perfect with occasional pixellations now and again, even their 50kw SDN (fr 30) is most of the time ok,but sometimes problematic.
So i will have to wait and see come DSO2 on Wednesday 26 September 2012 whether the rest of Bilsdale's mux's notably D3+4 on frequency 29 is attainable in my locality.
Still there's always Winter Hill i could consider as that is possible where i live, more so with the signal booster on and Emley Moor which is already my local main transmitter, although i dont normally bother with its regional news content as Halifax only gets occasional coverage now and again.
But then again better equipment (aerial wise) could see a big difference altogether.
All the best to you too !
