Hello,
Before the DSO I could receive all the digitalchannels on my loftaerial but since I have been having problems. I have disconnected my amp and distributor and now run 4 TV's direct from the aerial. This improved reception but on rescanning for channels find that some are no longer avalable. The signal strength is 80-90 on some channels but 50 on others with no bit errors apart from the HD channels, these have a signal of 85 and pixelate.
Would it be correct to assume that I have the correct aerial (It looks like a W wideband) and it worked before the switchover?
Would fitting a variable attenuater to reduce the signal strength help and bring back the missing channels? I live just 21 miles from the Belmonttransmitter.
Any help please.
