I recently replaced my main television with a new one. There was a plugged in 'box' with aerials going in and out of it behind the tv which didn't appear to be working (the light wasn't on even though it was plugged in) so I didn't bother connecting the new tv through it. I watch Sky TV through the main tv so it didn't matter that it wasn't connected to the aerial. The problem however is that since that day, none of my upstairs freeview tvs will work. When I scan for a signal they can't detect a thing!
So my question is - was the box behind the main tv somehow providing the signal to the upstairs tvs? And if so, how do I rectify the problem? Please help!!
