Below are all of Paul's postings, with the most recent are at the bottom of the page.B.hill is a bit behind a hill to us and due to its low power we get channels dropping and epg probs. Thought i was being clever !.
Aerial is wideband, but is a screwfix special, maybe should have spent more?

I have a direct line to the wrekin, and on a clear day can actually see it, so aiming was easy !.
The cable was replaced several years ago, and may be the culprit together with a cheap aerial.
My neighbour has what looks like a standard Yagi18 and gets the channels I am missing, but with a very blocky signal.
I think once September comes and the signals reach their final levels all will be fine.
I get 70% upwards on signal strength and perfect results in the main.
I am going to replace the cables with new GOOD quality as a starter and will get a better quality aerial as the Screwfix specials are (literally) tin foil!

Thanks for all your help, due to it being a bit Windy I will may not be on the roof today & will report back soon.
As I can get the commercial channels from B.Hill (albeit a bit dodgy) I will swap back for now, and then move back to the Wrekin in September.

Wolverhampton
HI,
Live in Wombourne quite high up and have a clear view to the Wrekin (18.1 miles away according to GoogleEarth)
I was using brierly hill and have now re-aimed (and rotated) my aerial to the wrekin, but no longer have Dave, etc.
Are the 'commercial' MUX not at full power yet ?
Any help would be appreciated, before I get back on the roof and swap back to B.Hill !
Thanks
Paul
