Below are all of John's postings, with the most recent are at the bottom of the page.js: Hi yes - scanned a couple of times. The channels are showing on the channel list and the EPG is showing programmes so data is getting through, but the channel won't play (nor Channel 4+1 HD and 4 seven HD)
The tuners are daisy chained with small patch lead supplied with tuner card:
Antenna > into Tuner1 > into Tuner 2 > into TV.
The TV at the end of the chain is playing the channel happily so it can't be the antenna causing the problem and the 6284 has worked brilliantly for years without any problems until this recent change.
Thanks for your help

Hi - I knew something had changed as BBC Four HD was not working and automatically did a retune but no joy since then.
I assume my tuner card would pick up move to COM8 at retune?
I've just tried More4+1 and 5Star+1 - they aren't working either but QVC Beauty is. The only difference I can see from your list above is that the channels that aren't working on COM8 are type 22? I don't know what that means.
Also from your list some of the COM7 channels aren't working either?
Any ideas - is it just a reduction in power from the transmitter? In which case would a signal booster/splitter do the job?
Thanks
John

MikeP:
Hi Mike - we're WS7 0BA receiving from sutton coldfield. The aeriel is about 10 years old - its massive about 5ft long with X shaped cross members.
Would this be wideband? (before I climb into the loft and have a look)

Hi - my local transmitter is Sutton Coldfield. BBC four HD is no longer received by my Tv server (PC used as a PVR) which uses a TBS6284 pci card for digital terrestrial reception (it has 4 tuners built in) . However my LG TV is receiving BBC four HD and is connected to the same loft antenna.
The tuners are daisy chained from antenna to PCI card tuner 1 then 2 then 3 then 4 then to the LG TV.
The antenna is a log periodic wideband and all the cabling connections plugs and sockets are all sound.
The reception of BBC 4 HD on the LG TV is brilliant along with all the other HD channels - all rock solid.
The only problem is the PCI tuner card.
I am about 7km from the transmitter and have never had any problems receiving any channels until the recent changes.
Any ideas?
many thanks
John
Do I need a new pci card for my server? Any ideas would be appreciated.

js: HI thanks for responding - I've done the scan - how can I publish the report on this site? Forum seems to be text only.
Thanks
