Broneirion transmitter is reporting no faults but our TV signal is non-existant on 2 different aerials. Could you please investigate ?

I have now tried a third TV set on a third aerial and there is absolutley no signal. This cut out has happened also in the last two days but only lasted for a few minutes. This time is is getting on for three quarters of an hour

Broneirion (Powys, Wales) Freeview Light transmitter

I have just looked at another page on this website and it is indicating that the Broneirion transmitter is Off Air. Why then does this page say that there is no problem ? Why does it not indicate what the problem is and when it is anticioated to be resolved ?

Broneirion (Powys, Wales) Freeview Light transmitter

The page which stated that Broneirion was off air was radioandtvhelp.co.uk and I accessed the page through this website (don't know how now but I looked it up in my history !) and it says that Broneirion was off air from 14.08 until 15.16 yesterday

We are in mid-Wales and receive limited freeview channels from Broneirion relay station.
We cannot receive satellite TV due to our position in relation to the satellite and because of painfully slow broadband (commonly 0.35mbps) we are unable to access any TV through this route.
I understand that relay stations are not publically funded and this is why the channels are limited. Is this correct and are there plans to increase the available channels ? We are particularly keen to receive ITV3 (amongst others)
Thank you for your help

Dave Lindsay : Thanks for your response. Is it your view then that there is unlikely to be any improvement in the number of channels we receive in the near future ?
Is there any mileage in lobbying anyone or am I just one voice ?

Dave Lindsay : Many thanks for your reply. We have had 2 local satellite installers out and one said no chance and the other said that we would need an 8ft pole on top of the chimney which would compromise the safety of the chimney in high winds so that is out.
Oh well we'll just have to wait and see what happens. We did actually pick up an additional channel yesterday - Film 4 - so who knows ? !!

Could you please explain why this website indicates that there is no problem with Broneirion transmitter when we have had no signal since about 9.00am this morning ? (Time now 10.50am).

Thanks MikeB for that. We don't have many people nearby but we do have three TVs on three aerials and they are all out ! We are also fairly accustomed to the signal just disappearing - it is just very frustrating that the website is not updated.

The website is stating no problems with Broneirion transmitter but we have poor reception on BBC1 and BBC2 and no other channels - all saying either No Signal or No Service.
Is there an unreported problem ?
