Peter: Retuning is never recommended when you have a signal problem as it deletes all of your correctly tuned channels before attempting to scan for new ones. There are no reported problems with Divis so it is most likely something at your end. Start at the back of the TV and check all cables and connections are in tight with nothing loose or damaged, then work your way back towards the aerial as far as you can safely access checking everything as you go. Once you have some channels back, you'll probably need to retune again to restore the channels deleted during your earlier retune.

Alan Langler: What happens if you try tuning to another station on the Humberside mux such as Viking?

Steve O: Suggest you try contacting the broadcaster. This website is for technical help with reception problems and has no connection with any broadcaster.

kim: No one else has reported any problems with Rowridge on this website, are these local reports of problems? I'm not sure what you mean about digital being secretive?

Alan Langler: KCFM is broadcast on the Lincolnshire mux which extended its coverage to include Hull last year, not the Humberside mux which carries BBC Humberside and the Viking stations. Does your radio have a manual tuning facility? If it does, try tuning 11B (or 215MHz).

Alan Langler: Just realised you should be tuning 10D rather than 11B as the Humberside mux changed frequency back in September, which isn't reflected on this page.

Anthony Chiocchi: Try replacing the cable from the wall socket to your TV first as it may be that the plug has become damaged (quite common, especially if the plug is situated where it easily be knocked). If that doesn't resolve it, ask your landlord or management company to get someone out to check and replace the socket. If the aerial has always been in the loft there is no reason why it shouldn't continue to give good reception provided all the cabling etc is in good condition.

Kathryn Hitchen: If you're suffering with 4G interference you should contact an organisation called AT800 (see link below) who will provide a free plug-in filter. Although it's surprising the engineer didn't direct you to them (or just fit a filter for you) if they suspected 4G interference to be the cause of your problem.

Bill Stewart: A Freesat box will give you 200 or so free to air channels for a one off cost of buying the box (from 171 if you want a box that records). It reuses your existing dish and cabling so you can set it up yourself without needing an engineer/installer to visit.
