Max Hawthorne: Oliver's Mount was originally a relay of Emley Moor when it opened in 1975 and has always been in the BBC and ITV Yorkshire region.

Mike Parkins: If the local TV mux was going to be broadcast in both polarisations from Rowridge it would have happened by now. Most of the local TV stations run on shoestring budgets and there is little prospect of any funding being available to pay for the necessary engineering work and additional ongoing operating costs. The local mux runs at a much lower power than the national services as it is targeted at Southampton and the surrounding areas. Other areas may receive overspill coverage whilst not being in the target coverage area.

davtid coates: The Heyshaw transmitter currently has a notice of DAB being off air since 9am due to engineering work. Unfortunately they don't give any information on what that work involves or how long it is expected to take.

Constance Hawthorne: TVs in hotel rooms rarely get retuned, so it could be as simple as it having not been retuned in a long time to pick up updated channel lists (this function will probably be locked down to prevent guest access). It could also be that something is being done to the mux data as it passes through the hotel's distribution system. I recently stayed at a Premier Inn in London and found that whilst the channels and current programme names were listed, there was no programme information available on any of the channels I watched.

Michael Murphy: BBC Reception Advice were reporting that Newhaven was off air due to a fault from 6:59am to 9:01am this morning, so it appears to have been fixed around the same time you posted here. This website does display engineering information from a BBC public feed, however there can be a lag in it being updated.
