AnnJones: Have you checked for any loose or damaged cables or connections behind your TV? Is your aerial in the loft or on the roof and it it still attached and pointing in the correct direction? We need a full postcode to see where you are in relation to the transmitter and your predicted signal strength etc to be able to offer more specific advice.

Gordon Jelley: Try contacting the broadcaster (Pick is owned by Sky) via their own website, they won't see your comment here.

Tony Bonner: The transmitter engineering posts are automatically generated using a data feed from BBC Engineering, although it it can often lag behind.

Mark: The TV Licence isn't a subscription and the amount paid has nothing to do with the number of channels you receive. Every household pays the same amount (excluding those entitled to a free licence or discount for blind or partially sighted people).

G.D.Bartlett: You would be better off asking the broadcaster directly. This isn't Pick's website and they are unlikely to see your comment here.

Jean Owen: Great! TV, Great! Movies +1 and Great! Movies Classic are carried on the local TV multiplex, which is only broadcast in areas with a local TV station (I believe Cardiff, Swansea and Mold are the only areas with local TV stations in Wales). Great! Movies Action is not broadcast from any transmitters in Wales, as it's capacity on the COM4 multiplex is taken by E4 (which cannot fit on the PSB2 multiplex as the space it uses in England/Scotland/NI is taken by S4C). You should still be able to receive Great! Movies on Freeview channel 33 which is carried on the COM6 multiplex alongside Yesterday and Talking Pictures.

Mark: The transmitter engineering posts on the previous comments page report that the transmitter was off air from 26th to 30th November, which seems to be the result of the loss of mains power caused by the recent storm. If you retuned whilst the transmitter was off air then you have most likely deleted the tuning data from your TV and will need to retune again. Or have you lost signal again since 30th November?

ITV 3 +1
Sunday 5 December 2021 11:17PM

Toto: I assume that you are referring to ITV3 +1 on Freeview, where it shares capacity with CITV channel, meaning that only one of the two channels can be broadcast at a time. CITV broadcasts until 9pm each evening and there is no spare capacity available any earlier, which is why ITV3 +1 is only on air from 9pm each evening.

Sharnna Marie Bird : W is a pay channel and is therefore not available on Freeview. You can catchup on Eastenders at any time on iPlayer.

Derek Dickmann: Have you checked for any loose cables or connections behind your TV? If the problem has been going on for 3 months it is almost certainly being caused by some sort of fault or interference at your end and not the transmitter (although as you haven't said where you are or which transmitter you're using we can't check). Your TV Licence is not a subscription and does not entitle you to receive any particular channels, nor does it provide any funding to commercial channels such as Sky Arts or Talking Pictures.

Vinnie Martins: Where is this box and where does the cable go that has been cut? Chances are that it's going to be something that would best be repaired/reconnected by a reputable aerial installer, rather than something that you could easily repair yourself.
