Several broadcasters do this with +1 channels in order to reserve extra channel numbers that they could use to launch a new channel in future without it being allocated a number at the back of the list.

eden: You should be able to cancel Sky if you are still within the cooling off period, however if you've had it for a month then you are probably outside the cooling off period and will be stuck with it for the length of the minimum term that you agreed to when you upgraded to Sky Q. I doubt Sky would refund the subscription charges you've already paid as you've already had the use of it for that time. You can watch BBC iPlayer on your laptop at BBC iPlayer . Netflix is a subscription service which offers many different movies and TV shows but has nothing to do with watching programs on BBC iPlayer, ITV Hub, All4, My5 or any other service.

Miss Hilary K Pitt: Please provide a postcode so we can see which transmitter you're using and your predicted signal strength. Are you still able to receive Drama on channel 20 and 5USA on 21?

pauline: This website is for technical help with TV and radio reception problems and has nothing to do with Price Drop TV or any other broadcaster. Given the Price Drop TV has been closed for so long, I think you'll struggle to find any information about a purchase from 10 years ago, unless you can find the same item listed on another website somewhere.

Martin Rosen: These are frequency changes, not the channel number you enter on your remote to change channel.

Mark A: It's on PSB2, not that it really provides any useful information beyond the address of Freeview's website.

A Berwick: Check channel 750 and up to see if the BBC channels appear there. If they are present, do a full retune and see if they reappear on their usual numbers. If they don't reappear after a full retune and you can only get the versions on 750 and up, you should call the number in the article above to have your aerial replaced for free.

A douglas: Have you tried turning both TVs off at the mains for 5-10 minutes before switching back on?

Christine Aubrey & Mark Foxwell: You should report the loss of service to the broadcaster who's station you are trying to listen to. They will be able to get the transmitter company to investigate and resolve any transmitter fault. This website is not connected to any broadcaster or transmitter company and no one who posts here has any mean of investigating or fixing any transmitter faults.
